Free and Reduced Lunch Applications
Free or Reduced-priced meals are available for those who qualify based upon income guidelines set by the Federal Government. Applications can be filled out online or by smartphone at www.lunchapp.com. Paper copies must be returned to the school offices. You must fill out a new application each school year. If you do not submit a new form by September 30, 2020, your child will automatically be charged the full price for a meal beginning on October 1, 2020.
Pandemic EBT Program
Families with children who received free or reduced-cost lunches at school qualify for new program.
The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer Program (P-EBT) provides temporary funding to address emergency food needs for families affected by the pandemic.
P-EBT food assistance benefits will go to Michigan families with students ages 5-18 that are eligible for free or reduced-price school meals. This includes families currently receiving Food Assistance Program benefits, as well as those not currently enrolled in the program. No application is necessary for eligible families to receive P-EBT benefits. Click HERE for more information.

MHSAA Changes Participation Physical Exam Requirement for School Year 2021-22
A sports physical completed by a doctor on or after April 15, 2021 is again the requirement by the MHSAA for the 2021-2022 school year. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure anyone to come in and perform physicals at school. Both Mercy Health and Spectrum Health are offering sports physicals at their urgent cares and walk-in clinics. Here is a link to an article I posted on our website with more information. NO ONE should be practicing without a sports physical on file in the middle school office.
The form must be completed in full and signed before turning it into the high school office. Student-athletes without the proper paperwork turned in, will not be allowed to practice or compete with any athletic teams.
Athletic Complex Construction
If you have not been up to school as of late, you should make it a point to take a peek. The field is done and we are now awaiting the installation of the track. Please help us by telling those in your programs to avoid this area until the track has been installed and construction has come to a close. This is especially important when the track surface is put down. It will take some time for this surface to "cure" before it is ready for use. The estimated finish date is Friday, August 13, with a first use date of Monday, August 16. We will have a schedule for the use of the field very soon -- it will be a very busy area this fall!
