Schools of Choice Plans for the 2021-22 School Year
There are many options for a quality education within Kent ISD and other state ISDs. Our Schools of Choice plans are designed to provide the best possible education for the vast majority of families who choose their home district, while accommodating those who would like to transfer to another school.
Kent City Schools will have 10 slots available for each grade, K - 12, for the 2021-22 school year.
Kent Intermediate School District Schools of Choice Plan:
This plan would include the acceptance of pupils from districts within the boundaries of the Kent ISD (in-county residents). Applications for this program will be accepted as follows:
April 12 - May 14, 2021, at 4:00 PM Original Application Period
If spots are still available, Kent City Community Schools will continue to accept applications until the first day of school. Applications for this program will be available in the school offices and online beginning in April.
Families, please note: The Kent ISD Schools of Choice plan is a lottery-oriented system, not a first-come, first-served one.
